OpTek provides a comprehensive range of optical fiber processing services from our facilities in both the US and UK. Utilising OpTek proprietary LaserCleave processes, we can provide all your production needs from demonstration and qualification batches through to volume production.
Simplex
OpTek’s unique patented process produces a superior optical quality finish on flat end-faces. At angles from zero degrees to in excess of 45 degrees.
Arrays
Rapid processing of ribbons, arrays and multi-fiber connectors in a range of geometries with excellent fiber-to-fiber registration.
Lensing
Laser lensing offers unparalleled performance in the production of lensed optical fiber. Processing of PM, SM and MM fiber is fast, accruate and reliable, with processing times at a fraction of that required for grind and polish, and first-pass yield at 99.9%
Stripping
OpTek’s laser stripping provides controllable and reproducible removal of acrylate or polyimide buffers with tight control over the position, location and fiber-strength.
